Welcome, all LotR-wolf artists!

If you're "out there" on devART and enjoy looking at canine art, you'll no doubt know now that right now, fans of drawing both wolf and LotR fanart have been turning to combining both! Just take a look around at some random galleries, and it's a pretty safe bet you'll find some pretty decently-drawn Lord of the Rings wolves (and cats...and dogs...and horses...and lions...the list goes on and on).

...If you're at this club, changes are you've jumped on the bandwagon and are an accomplished LotR-wolf artist yourself. Or maybe you just like to see what other artists can pull off. Either way, we welcome you if you're a fan of canine-izing everyone's favourite LotR characters!

Sure, some may say it's a sick, demented, and just plain odd idea, but there are some of us out there who truly enjoy it - if you're one of those, apply to join (read the rules below) and hop on board with the rest of us!

Joining

You don't need any examples of your Lord of the Rings-wolf art, but if you have any handy, feel free to send us the URL and we'll check it out (and most likely it here at the club!)!

Once You're Here

Well, you've applied to join - and been personally accepted by one of the administration. Now what? Firstly, take a look at each of the members' galleries, just for fun. We'd definitely recommend this.

Secondly, check out the club's Favs. You're sure to find tons of examples of amazing LotR-wolf art there, and if you've sent us the URL of one of your drawings, it might even be there!

If there are any pics in the club's gallery, take a look at them as well. It's always fun!

What We Accept

With the large amounts of LotR-lion artwork hanging around deviantART at the moment, I would rather NOT have any submitted. Only wolves for the present - until our name is "LotR-Wolves-and-Lions", we're not accepting any lions, or cats, or horses, or anything else. Only wolves!

However, since dogs, coyotes, and foxes are closely related to wolves, and since I know of a few artists on DA who prefer drawing the characters as any of the above, we are accepting those! Wooooooo!
